Personal Care Services
Respite care is temporary relief to those who are caring for a person with disabilities in their home. Providing care is rewarding but also can be overwhelming without some support, such as respite. Respite provides the needed break from the daily challenges.

Provide care and supervision that the parent, guardian or Host Home would normally provide.

Ensure the safety and well-being of the person.

Maintain the usual routine of the person. Such as following medication support plans.

Honor all aspects of the person’s human rights and adhere to all policies of confidentiality.

Provide timely, complete, legible, and accurate documentation of respite care and comply with all reporting requirements.

Represent Phoenix Services in a positive and professional manner to persons, families, co-workers and the public.

Notify Human Resources of any changes in address, phone number, and emergency information.

Provide own transportation and maintain a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
